The stigma, confusion and humiliation of domestic violence runs deep in our society. To those who’ve experienced years of abuse, the toll it can take on one’s psyche is immeasurable. To victims of domestic violence, who may not have the resources or wherewithal to break free, we act as a protector, helping them break free from this destructive cycle, and move on with their lives.
